Uppsala Pride 26/9 information

🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ Uppsala Pride 2026 is upon us, down below you can find all the important information for attending with UFF. The information can be updated so please check this post now and then to see if anything else have been added.

Location

• Place: Uppsala Konsert & Kongress (UKK), Vakasalagatan 1, 753 31, Uppsala
• Time: Parade starts 15.00

Changing room before the parade (only for fursuiters or people who need changing rooms!)

• We will get access to a changing room in UKK. If you would like to use it the changing room is open between 14.10 - 14.50!
• Please go to the backstage door, there will be someone from UFF/UKK to let you in.
• Fursuiters/people who need a changing room may leave bags in the locker room inside a locker, however UFF is not responsible for your belongings so please do not leave any valuables there.
• If you are not in need of changing into fursuit/specific clothing/gear you may not use the locker rooms or store bags.

Parade information

We will have slot 7 in the parade, some people in the front of our parade slot will wear the number 7 visibly.

We as furries have gotten the exception that we are allowed to wear full cover masks. BUT it is good to keep in mind that the Uppsala Pride personnel or the police can ask you to remove the mask to identify you if there would be a safety concern. If that would happen please co-operate and listen to their instructions.

• If you would be harassed, for example tails being pulled, gettinge pushed or similar please approach Uppsala Pride peronnel and they will assist you
• There can sometimes be people protesting staying by the sideline, it can be incredibly frustrating but please remember to not touch or interact with these people, just cheer louder instead
• It is smart to bring a water bottle so you stay hydrated during the event
• Please don't walk more than 4 people side by side (wish from Uppsala Pride) and do your best to keep to our spot in the train as much as possible.
• Note that we only have a slot at the Pride Parade, we are not organisers of the event itself. So Uppsala Pride's rules are the ones that apply for this specific event.
• Even though our events are always 18+, joining us in the parade is the exception where everyone is welcome.

Group photo

• After the parade there will be a group photo taken, it will be done next to the backstage door where the changing rooms are so please meet up after the parade if you would like to join the photo.

Changing room after the parade

• We will also get access to the changing room in UKK after the parade, time will be after the parade is finished.
